Linux is the kernel behind a family of FOSS Operating Systems made by Linus Torvalds. Its different distributions are upkept by a list of contributors and supporters, and thus, because it is not a company, Law Enforcement has a hard time governing it. Linux is naturally a safer option to its main competitor, Windows, as it is not owned by a Company, and does not have an incentive to screw over its users for profit.

These people are usually found on Reddit and the Fediverse, and usually try to contest each other and debate about which Operating Systems are the best.
